In celebration of British Pie Week (March 2–8), The Avalon, The Stonhouse, The Abbeville, The Bolingbroke and The White Hart will be serving a homemade pie and a pint for £10 from March 2–15. Offerings vary by establishment, but expect the likes of a rabbit pie with black pudding and prunes, a cow pie packed with braised oxtail, tongue and tripe, and classic comfort pies such as chicken, ham and tarragon. Draught beers and select bottles will be included as part of the deal, including Timothy Taylor's award-winning Landlord and other guest ales such as Doombar, Bombardier or Deuchars Caledonian.
