Hippity hoppity to these restaurants on 12 April for special Easter menus and family fun.
Galvin at Windows: Enjoy Sunday in a room with one of the best views in town while enjoying a three-course menu that includes a glass of champagne or a soft drink for the kids (noon–3 PM; £39.50; 020-7208-4021).
Kettner’s: From 10–12 April, this Soho Eclectic is turning Good Friday into "Bad Friday" with a special nine-ft. bar dedicated solely to chocolate treats, including mousses, cakes, doughnuts and more; free chocolate eggs will be given out to children. On Sunday, a three-course lunch will feature dishes like warm salad of rabbit and pigeon, and pui lentils with roast lamb, minted peas and roast parsnips (11 AM–5 PM; £18.50 per person; 020-7734-6112).
The Landau:
Every diner who attends the special afternoon tea from 10–13 April or the Sunday or Monday celebratory lunch will receive a complimentary handmade chocolate egg. Four lucky diners will find a prize voucher inside their eggs, allowing them to take home a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Grand Siecle champagne, dinner for two at the restaurant, a night in one of the hotel’s suites or three nights at the Langham, Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, CA (020-7965-0165).
Paradise by way of Kensal Green: From 9–13 April this Kilburn Modern British will offer special à la carte menus, parties and events, including an egg hunt planned for Easter Sunday (those who find hidden "golden eggs" will win various prizes). Sunday also brings another installment of "The Paradise Show", and bands will play from 5 PM on ($5 for The Paradise Show; 020-8969-0098).
Le Pont de la Tour: This Tower Bridge French will be offering a two-course lunch menu for £20 or a three-course menu for £25 from 10–13 April. Families can relax, take in the views and enjoy live jazz (020-7403-8403).
