What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than learning kitchen secrets from one of the top Japanese toques in town? On 25 July, Umu’s chef Ichiro Kubota will demonstrate a seven-course kaiseki menu based on seasonal ingredients. Guests will enjoy each dish prepared together with matching sake chosen by the head sommelier (11 AM–3 PM; £140 per person; there are also additional classes 26 September and 7 November).
