More information about the first ever London Restaurant Festival (8–13 October) is coming in: Pierre Koffmann, the chef at the late, celebrated La Tante Claire, has announced his return to the kitchen at this year’s event. He'll be cooking at an 80-seat pop-up restaurant, "La Tante Claire at Selfridges," on the roof of the store, where he'll be joined by members of his original brigade, Tom Kitchin, Eric Chavot (Capital), Tom Aikens (Tom Aikens and Tom’s Kitchen), Raphael Duntoye, Helena Puolakka (Skylon) and William Curley. Tables will be tough to score, though, so watch the festival’s website on 9 September when reservation details will be announced.
