Popular Shoreditch eaterie and entertainment venue The Brickhouse just launched a five-course menu for a reasonable £25. Head chef Matthew Reuther, formerly of 1 Lombard Street and Foliage, has devised a feast that includes confit duck croquettes served with pesto and date chutney and, for dessert, champagne jelly and mascarpone ice cream (020-7247-0005; vegetarian options available; reserve online).
