Damien Hirst may be getting the some negative reviews for his paintings exhibition at the Wallace, which has a dining tie-in, but that hasn't stopped other venues from running similar promotions. The latest is Kings Place restaurant Rotunda, which on Tuesday, 27 October, is offering a meal themed to the Lynn Chadwick show, "Out of the Shadows: Unseen Sculptures from the 1960s." The oyster-focused evening, celebrating the Kings Cross Oyster Festival, starts with a 6:15 PM champagne and oyster reception at the Pangolin Sculpture Gallery, followed by a four-course dinner at 7:15 PM, all for a very reasonable £35 a head. Dishes include Northumbrian beef-and-oyster pie and pan-fried sea bass with oyster champagne sauce. Call 020-7014-2840 or e-mail enquiries@rotundabarandrestaurant.co.uk for reservations.
