June 30 & July 1: Benefiting the YMCA, the 2nd annual LA Wine Fest aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach Harbor features more than 500 wines from 12 regions (2–6 PM daily; $40 per person per day in advance; $45 per person per day at the door; www.lawinefest.com).
July 12–15: The Central Coast Wine Classic kicks off on Thursday, July 12th, with a barrel tasting and dinner at Hearst Castle prepared by Cat Cora, followed by numerous tastings and winery dinners on Friday, July 13th, a wine auction on Saturday, July 14th, and wine symposiums and tastings on Sunday, July 15th (for details, go to www.centralcoastwineclassic.org).
