Happy hour at Blowfish Sushi to Die For now includes the option of creating your own sushi rolls for $5; mix and match ingredients like albacore, crab, salmon, salmon skin, spicy tuna, yellowtail and eel, which can be jazzed up with vegetables and sundry sauces. Every Sunday is Wine Lover's Night at the Santa Monica branch of Boa, with the whole wine list going for half price (310-899-4466).
The Whisper Lounge, the jazzy joint hidden on the side of Grove at the Farmers Market, now offers a Tuesday Night Wine Bar – select bottles go for half price, as do three-ounce pours from the by-the-glass list. The corkage fee is also waived (323-931-0202).
