The latest New York chef to head west, Laurent Tourondel has opened BLT Steak, an ultraswank steakhouse with prices to match, in the Sunset Strip space that was formerly home to entertainment industry icon Le Dome; the menu is so beef intensive it even includes an ‘Angus Beef Chart’ – though a raw bar and cheese counter add to the mix – for patrons to peruse in a warm setting with ebony tables or on the patio overlooking the famous boulevard.
