After helping to redefine French bistro fare at Pinot Bistro, chef Octavio Becerra turns his playful sensibility to New American at Palate Food + Wine, parked in Glendale Auto Row’s former Cinnabar space; pork plays prominently on the menu, from the ‘porkfolio’ (an assortment of piggy charcuterie) to potted shoulder in Mason jars, while a checkerboard floor and purple-and-green design touches comprise the fanciful decor.
