The seventh annual Vintage Hollywood wine-and-food tasting rolls into town on June 14th at the home of Bob Daly and Carole Bayer Sager (the address will be given out with ticket purchase). The event raises funds for Save the Children and United Friends of the Children, with dishes provided by 16 restaurants, including Three on Fourth, AOC, Campanile and Jar (6:30–9 PM; $200 per person; 310-899-9191; tickets are available online).
Also on June 14th, Gourmet magazine will be throwing its annual grilling spectacular, Gourmet on Fire!, at Loews Santa Monica Beach to benefit the Southland Farmer's Markets Association. The ‘cue will be cooked up by eight local chefs, including Akasha Richmond (Akasha), Govind Armstrong (Table 8), Joe Miller (Joe's) and Katsuya Uechi of Katsuya (6–9 PM; $90 per person in advance, $100 at the door; 877-490-3337; tickets are available online).
