At the Tapas & Wine Bar C in Little Tokyo, waitresses dressed like something out of a Maurice Chevalier fantasy – think French maids in high heels – serve a pricey Eclectic menu that makes room for both steamed egg custard with foie gras and a whole section devoted to fondue; and yes, you can take the mike and sing the hits of Frank and Sammy, though it helps to have polished off a bottle of wine first.
