As previously reported, the Primo Hospitality Group's new steakhouse Tonys will be opening February 6th in the Sunset space that was once home to Norman's (and even more briefly to a restaurant called Crudo). Offerings will include steak and more steak, along with pasta and seafood dishes – all under $25 – plus a rotating $5 martini (8570 W. Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood; 310-289-1145).
Also be on the lookout for more offerings from the Primo group, including a 10,000-sq.-ft. second location of Tonys, housed in a former bank next to the Biltmore hotel (summer), Primo Bistro in West Hollywood (February), a Caffe Primo location at the Pegasus Lofts downtown (spring) and Primo Cucina, a gourmet cafe and marketplace, in the Barker Block complex (summer). Faltering economy? Say no such thing!
