Easter Feasting

Hippity hoppity to these restaurants on April 12 for special Easter menus and family fun.

The Belvedere: One of SoCal's most elegant hotels is offering one of Easter's most elegant brunches, a three-course affair featuring a family-style buffet and unlimited Piper Heidsieck champagne (11 AM–9:30 PM; $105 per adult, $37 per child; 310-788-2306).

Cafe Del Rey: At this waterside Cal-Med in Marina del Rey, the holiday brings a three-course meal with unlimited champagne for adults, a buffet for kids and paints for turning hard-boiled eggs into works of art (10:30 AM–2:30 PM; $69 for adults, $20 for children; 310-823-6395).

Cafe Pinot: Joachim Splichal's Downtown French will serve a three-course holiday brunch, available both inside and on the outdoor patio (10:30 AM–2:30 PM; $35 per adult, $15 per child; 213-239-6500).

Cézanne: This Santa Monica French is offering a two-course brunch; for the kids, there's a basket-carrying Easter Bunny (11 AM–3 PM; $35 per person, $50 with champagne; 310-899-6122).

Craft: Chef Matthew Accarrino is cooking up a storm for the holiday with a menu that includes options like housemade black-truffle pork sausage, braised short rib ravioli and chocolate cake with Earl Grey cream (11 AM–4 PM; $48 per person; 310-279-4180).

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: Paul Fleming's mini-chain will serve a three-course brunch, including a smoked salmon quiche topped with caviar, along with the regular menu – for those who crave a steak (11:30 AM–3:30 PM; $29.95 per person; 213-745-9911).

Kendall's Brasserie: Dine on a three-course brunch at this Downtown French ($35 per adult, $15 per child; 213-972-7322).

McCormick & Schmick's: The Pasadena branch of this West Coast seafood chain is offering one of the best bargains in town – a three-course meal ($19.95 for adults and $9.95 for children), which can be eaten on the spacious outdoor patio in the heart of Pasadena (10:30 AM–2:30 PM; 626-405-0064).

On Sunset: This hidden Californian in the Luxe Hotel will serve a buffet brunch with live jazz for $52 per person ($28 for children); the Easter Bunny will make an appearance (10 AM–2 PM; 310-476-6571).

Parker's Lighthouse: Sit on the harbor at this Long Beach seafooder, enjoying the view of the Queen Mary, while enjoying a three-course brunch (10 AM–2:30 PM; $29 per adult, $15 per child; 562-432-6500).

Pinot Bistro: Joachim Splichal's original Pinot is offering a three-course French brunch for $35 per person ($15 for kids), including scrambled eggs with chorizo and scallions, and pancakes flavored with ricotta and lemon (10:30 AM–3 PM; 818-990-0500).

Polo Lounge: Eat like a star at this fabled Beverly Hills hideaway, which is serving a three-course brunch that includes a glass of champagne ($94 per adult, $45 per child; 310-887-2777).

Raffles L'Ermitage: This Beverly Hills hotel is offering a brunch with dishes like crab eggs Benedict and duck à l'orange as well as a "Dessert Heaven" – a sugary buffet of many, many sweets (11 AM–3:30 PM; $85 per adult, $45 per child; getaway packages with brunch for two and a room for the night start at $595; 310-278-3344).

XIV: One of West Hollywood's hottest destinations is (unexpectedly) offering a buffet brunch of Michael Mina's distinctive dishes – a rare chance to taste his small-dish cooking in a setting where you can eat lots of it (11 AM–2 PM; $59 per adult, $29 per child; 323-656-1414).
