Seattle has its Pike Place Market. San Francisco has its Ferry Building Marketplace. And if some developers in Downtown LA have their way, we'll have our Artisan Market in the Douglas Building at the corner of Spring and 3rd Streets, in the midst of Downtown's Historic Core. The year-round market began its roll-out on July 20 with the opening of Blue Cupcake and Lot 44 Coffee, and planned arrivals over the next few months include a French bakery, a tea company, a fish vendor and more, all filling the space's indoor atrium.
