Eat for a good cause! October 4 is Pier del Sol’s 40th Birthday Bash, a party help on the Santa Monica Pier from 10 AM–2 PM, which will benefit the Southern California Special Olympics. This year's extravaganza includes music, a tide pool, a cake contest, celebrities signing autographs, a silent auction and, oh yeah, a dine-around featuring a ton of LA restaurants – including Angelini Osteria, Anisette Brasserie, Comme Ça, Coupa Café, Mako, Mélisse and Providence.
