It's official: Brasserie LCB, which shuttered its doors in March 2007 after a damning Department of Health visit, is closed. Alain Ducasse has taken over the West 55th Street space, home to the second incarnation of the fabled La Côte Basque, where he plans to open an outpost of his Benoît bistro early next year.
Back in January, Wayne Nish and Joseph Scalice overhauled March, their longtime UES fine-dining option, in an attempt to make it more casual. The resulting restaurant, Nish, closed this week.
