Restaurateur Drew Nieporent (Nobu, Tribeca Grill) and avant-garde chef Paul Liebrandt (ex Atlas, Gilt) join forces at Corton, the long-awaited TriBeCa New French that soft-opened this week and officially opens on Monday in a restrained, neutral-toned modern setting (the redone former Montrachet space); its prix fixe–only menus start at $76 and are paired with a wine list concentrating on the Burgundy region.
