Almond, an offshoot of the lively Bridgehampton eatery of the same name, is the latest dweller in a seemingly jinxed Flatiron space; retaining the summer cottage vibe – and pool table – of its most recent predecessor, Borough Food & Drink, and with Jeffrey Chodorow still onboard as a backer, it offers rustic, market-based Franco-American bistro fare, accompanied by Gallic wines, all at pleasingly gentle prices.
