Path Café is coming to the West Village.

With all of the vacant restaurant spaces in the West Village lately, it’s heartening to see some openings looming. We reported last week that Gabriel Stulman’s Joseph Leonard is afoot, and a few weeks ago we were tipped off on a new spot from the owners of Alexandra. Now a papered window at 131 Christopher St. announces the imminent arrival of Path Café, named for the adjacent train station. Additionally, famous Florentine biscotti bakery Il Cantuccio just signed a lease at 91 Christopher and is shooting for an October opening.
