Tavern on the Green

Via press release (and as reported on Eater), the City's Parks & Recreation Department has announced that the LeRoy family has lost its lease on Central Park tourist mecca Tavern on the Green. The 20-year lease for the new tenant, park neighbor Dean Poll (who also runs the Boathouse), begins January 1, 2010. We wonder what this will mean for the Tavern on the Green brand, which the LeRoys own and were planning to extend to San Francisco.
