Garment District Irish pub the Galway Hooker (whose name actually refers to a sailboat, we swear) has spread over into the Village. Officially open for business today, the restaurant/bar features three floors of posh pub ambiance in the space formerly occupied by the Japanese Chanto and scenester-haunt Moomba. 12 beers on tap, a pool table and fireplace on each landing add to the cozy ambiance. The place to be, however, is the third floor bar, with its carpeting, plush stools and wall of windows looking over one of the Village’s main drags. The usual pub fare, like cottage pie ($14) populates the menu (133 Seventh Ave. S.; 212-675-6220).
