After an unsuccessful attempt at branching out to West Chester, Murray’s Deli has moved on and is setting its sights on Berwyn this September. The deli plans to open both Murray's Main Line and an upscale spot called bistro M, together replacing the Berwyn Ice House (575 Lancaster Ave).
What was the Wild Onion, the once-popular Main Line college hang in Rosemont, is being transformed into Flip & Bailey’s, a casual bar/restaurant scheduled to open in October (900 Conestoga Rd.).
Tortilla Press, the lively Mex BYO in Collingswood, will branch out this fall to Pennsauken with a place double the size. And yes, there will be a liquor license too (7716 Maple Ave.).
