Coming Soon: A David Katz Project, Another Alison, New Old Chinese and More

David Katz (ex Restaurant M) and investor Andrew Krouk (who owns the bricks of Melograno) are hammering out a bistro of undetermined concept at 24th and Locust Street; expect a late spring opening.

Alison “Alison At Blue Bell” Barshak’s second restaurant, projected for May in Fort Washington, will be called Alison Two (424 S. Bethlehem Pike).

The Ho Sai Gai at 10th and Race streets in Chinatown, closed for nearly a decade, is being revived; its owners hope for a summertime reopening.

Aden – the Northern Liberties Med BYO that closed in mid-2005 – expects to resurface a block north in mid-2008. Owner Hadar Nisimi says he’s going for a liquor license this time around (710 N. Second St.).

Redstone American Grill, the always-packed New American in Marlton, hopes to open a second location in June at Plymouth Meeting Mall.

And another Sam’s Grill is on the books for 11th and Sansom streets...perhaps as early as this summer.
