Learning at Yangming

Bryn Mawr's Yangming may be best known for its quality Mandarin-Continental fare, but it breaks free from the expected with its popular seminars that have nothing to do with Asian cuisine.

On Sunday, March 30th, the restaurant hosts "The Cheese Guy" from DiBruno House of Cheese and "The Wine Guy" from Moore Bros. for an educational tasting of Italian cheeses and wines (3–5 PM; $55 per person; 610-527-3200).

And for its Kitchen Design Seminar on Saturday, April 5th, a Ronald McDonald House Benefit, they bring in experts to teach you how to locate the best materials for your project, how to choose the right person for the job and what you need to know before you begin; no food will be served, but many follow the class with lunch upstairs (8:30 AM–12:30 PM; $55 per person; 610-527-3200).
