Sassafras International Cafe, a romantic Victorian favorite in an Old City storefront, has been refurbished to its former splendor, from the mirrored bar to the wild mural in the women’s restroom upstairs; the original chef is also back, offering a menu of midpriced Eclectic fare such as sandwiches and various burgers (beef, lamb, ostrich and buffalo) and a small assortment of retro entrees, plus signature Mongolian dumplings.
