Fall is approaching and you know what that means: Oktoberfest, ja! If you can't make it to Munich, fret not, because the celebration is happening here as well. In a benefit for breast cancer research (and Philly Beer Week 2009), visitors to the First City Troop Armory in Center City will be able to indulge in brews from 50 regional and international breweries, which will be offering their wares alongside various German foods. We can't think of a better way to bring in autumn (1–5 PM; $45 per person, food included; $75 for VIP access at noon, $15 for designated-driver tickets; 22 S. 23rd St.; get tickets).
