University City's Distrito will host two parties: starting at 11:30 AM, the first-floor bar area will offer a DJ, $5 snacks and $5 drink specials; upstairs after 5 PM, a $35 three-course tasting menu and a slightly more exotic $55 three-course menu (with ingredients like Kobe beef and lobster) will be offered in addition to à la carte dishes (215-222-1657).
In West Berlin, Los Amigos starts celebrating on May 1 with a "Celebration of the Pig" offering pork specials all weekend long, including pork fajitas and drink specials. On May 5 expect the famous annual pig roast with prizes and giveaways (856-767-5216).
The Rittenhouse Mex Los Catrines/Tequila’s is offering delicacies and traditional specialties from the region of Puebla (215-546-0181).
