With summer fast approaching, more and more restaurants are debuting new outdoor areas.
Silk City, the hipster haven in Northern Liberties, has opened an outdoor beer garden, accommodating about 50 people in a lively, colorful setting.
Pond and its smaller next-door neighbor, Bistro Cassis, in Radnor have stopped their indoor à la carte dining for the summer in favor of alfresco prix fixe grill menus served on Pond's terrace. Summer lunch ($19) is served Wednesdays–Fridays, while dinner ($29) is on Wednesdays–Saturdays.
Lastly, 10 Arts, the Eric Ripert restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton, has added a few tables just outside the hotel's front door on Broad Street.
