Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4: The Brandywine Harvest Festival wraps up this weekend, and The Chaddsford Winery gets in on the action with live music on its outdoor deck, sangria slushies, picnicking opportunities and wine tastings. Sunday, October 4: Unbreaded.com’s "Sandwich Smash" at the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue will assemble five restaurant professionals (Arthur Cavaliere of Parc, Mark Coates of Bebe's Barbecue, Peter McAndrews of Modo Mio's spin-off sandwich shop Paesano's, Michael Solomonov of Zahav and Rick Olivieri of Rick's Steaks), who will perform demos as Esquire food editor Ryan D'Agostino moderates; the audience will be served a five-course tasting menu of the featured sandwiches, plus beverage and dessert (5–8 PM; $65 per person or two for $120; purchase tickets here).
