October may bring Halloween and colder (rainy) weather, but here are two "spirited" events that should help heat things up.
On October 27, Cork in Westmont is offering a Don Julio tequila tasting of blue agave, blanco, reposado and añejo, which will be paired with nibbles by chef Sae An (6:30 PM; $35 per person; 856-833-9800).
Hosted by the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society and the Robb Report, the "Single Malt & Scotch Whiskey Extravaganza," happening October 30, will feature 100-plus rare single malts and a buffet at The Union League (6:30–9 PM; $115 per society member, $130 for nonmembers; 140 S.
