Pino Spinoso (Café Tiramisu, Brindisi Cucina di Mare) will expand his Belden Lane monopoly when he opens this moderately priced Mediterranean restaurant later this month at 28 Belden Place.

Daniel Patterson – who made his mark at Frisson with cutting-edge cuisine using aromatherapy techniques – will return to the dining scene later this month at a decidedly less avant-garde Financial District restaurant (373 Broadway) offering multicourse dinners of French-Californian cuisine.
La Joya Restaurant & Bar
This Mexican eatery is slated to replace the Cuban-inspired Habana (2080 Van Ness Ave.); the new owners and chef, who hail from restaurants in mainland Mexico, will keep the decor and the mojitos while instituting an authentic south-of-the-border menu.

Pascal Rigo has morphed Galette, his crêperie at 2043 Fillmore Street, into another link in his chain of boulangeries; breads, crêpes and other Gallic vittles will be available on-site and to go.
Daniel Humm has left this luxe Downtowner to head the kitchen at Eleven Madison Park in NYC. His replacement has not yet been named.
James Ormsby, who oversaw the menu at this SoMa Californian, has resigned as corporate chef of parent company the PlumpJack Group. No word yet on where he will land or who will replace him.
