Classy Marina newcomer Bin 38 is hoping to set itself apart with a beer sommelier, as well as an extensive list of small-producer New World vino; drinks and small Californian plates can be enjoyed on its heated patio (3232 Scott St.; 415-567-3838).
Cellar 360, a glorified new tasting room in the historic Woolen Mill Building at Ghirardelli Square, is run by World Wine Estates (Beringer, Chateau St-Jean, Stags Leap, etc.); visitors have an opportunity to taste wine, pair foods or take a class with certified wine educators from Napa's COPIA (415-440-0772).
