Housed in the renovated Hotel Kabuki, midpriced, Japanese-style tavern O Izakaya Lounge serves small plates with a NorCal sensibility, in addition to a traditional dinner menu featuring tempura and yakimono (grilled meats); the walls of its sake-pouring sports bar, whose flat-screen TV shows games from across the Pacific, are covered with oversized, comic book–style images of legendary baseball star Sadaharu Oh.
