Adam Jeb, a former GM of PlumpJack restaurants, has paired up with Karl Hasz, the founder behind the popular design-and-construction company responsible for bacar and several others, to open a 6,000-sq.-ft. steakhouse at One Yerba Buena Lane in the South of Market district. The as-of-yet-unnamed steakhouse is slated to open by January 2009, and the duo is currently interviewing chefs and mixologists for the project.
