Sushi Domo, like its name (short for domo arigato, or ‘thank you’ in Japanese), may be diminutive, but this midpriced Hayes Valley arrival from the Isa folks is big on appeal – the casual design mimics seafood spots you’d find in Japan with a simple interior and lots of unfinished wood, and the 20 seats are already packed with locals downing traditional sushi, creative crudos, beer and sake; N.B. there are also to-go bento boxes.
