Ryan Scott, formerly of Myth Café and a little show called Top Chef, has signed on as chef and co-partner of the Mission Beach Cafe, where he will debut new lunch and dinner menus in late June. Founder Alan Carter, who is old cooking-school buddies with Scott, will continue to prepare all of the cafe’s sweet and savory pastries, which are served from 7 AM until closing, and feature heavily on the weekend menu.
