After a long season of speculation, the fate of the late-great restaurant Myth has been decided. Though it was reported that the Ritz-Carlton Dining Room's Ron Siegel and Stephane Lacroix were interested in taking over the restaurant, it turns out the other rumored contenders, Michael and Lyndsay Tusk of Quince, will be taking the prize instead.
The husband-and-wife team have signed an agreement to take over the mythical Jackson Square address but first, like their predecessors, they have 30 days to vet the financial viability of the transaction. And even if the deal goes through as planned, the Tusks assure the Buzz that they won't be moving out of their old Pacific Heights digs until sometime in 2010. They also have plans to open a more casual outpost in the adjacent corner space that formerly housed Myth Café.
