Market in St. Helena has changed hands. It was only a
matter of time, really, since owners Doug Keane and Nick Peyton have
been focusing much of their attention one county over in Sonoma,
where they run Healdsburg's fine-dining crown jewel Cyrus and
recently took over the longstanding Healdsburg Bar & Grill.
Fans of the Main Street eatery shouldn't despair, however, as Keane and Peyton sold the
property to Market's chef, Eduardo Martinez.
He'll maintain the market-driven American comfort-food menu, while adding Latin American and vegetarian specials. Sometime in July, the restaurant will close for four to five days to make small changes (1346 Main St.; 707-963-3799).
