Haight Street’s venerable Magnolia Gastropub and Brewery enters its second decade with a spiffy interior remodel – it lost the iconic Grateful Dead mural but gained a communal table built from salvaged Douglas fir; a new executive chef has put together a midpriced menu of traditional pub grub with a Californian spin – (responsibly harvested) fish ’n’ chips, an organic burger, housemade sausages – to accompany the selection of handcrafted cask-conditioned ales (1398 Haight St.; 415-864-7468).
