Urban Tavern, the Hilton San Francisco’s latest venue, is a ‘green’ gastropub co-owned by Aqua’s Laurent Manrique that aims to please Downtowners, hotel guests and theatergoers alike with a midpriced menu of seasonal, organic Mediterranean-inspired fare, complemented by classic cocktails and an old-world wine list with a biodynamic and sustainable bent; all are available both in the rustic dining room, replete with booths, a communal table and beams made of reclaimed wood, and in the marble-topped bar and lounge area.
