Savvy sippers who aren't partaking in Slow Food Nation can celebrate Labor Day weekend with loads of vino at the 16th annual Sonoma Wine Country Weekend, presented by Visa Signature, from August 29th–31st. Though many of the events are already sold out, there are still tickets available for Saturday's Taste of Sonoma at MacMurray Ranch in Healdsburg, where more than 100 wineries will be pouring their wares; there will also be food from more than 60 area restaurants including the girl & the fig, Santé and Carneros Bistro & Wine Bar (11 AM–4 PM; $150 per person in advance, $160 at event; $95 for Visa Signature cardholders; 9015 Westside Rd., Healdsburg; see more details and reserve tickets).
