San Franciscans are always quick to show the love and share the wealth, but such hippie-dippy ideals are no longer limited to the fields of Golden Gate Park. Enter Fifth Floor, which, under the leadership of the fabulously named Emily Wines, a newly minted Master Sommelier (one of only 15 female Master Sommeliers in the nation), has launched an "Honor Bar" happy hour in its newly renovated lounge area, which includes a wood bar salvaged from a French château. Between the hours of 4–9 PM every night but Sunday, guests can serve themselves by the glass or the taste to a nightly selection of six wines handpicked by Wines herself. The “honor” part? The wine list offers suggested prices, accompanied by a large bucket for customers to pay as they please (415-348-1555).
