Following up on its Are You What You Cook? event this past summer, the Asian Culinary Forum kicks into high gear from October 10th–12th with a three-day fest entitled Asian Food Beyond Borders, centered in and around the Ferry Building, which will offer demos, tastings, tours and lectures. The event launches on Friday with a walk-around tasting, “The Six Asian Flavors”; continues with a full day of happenings on Saturday (including a cooking demo at Le Colonial); and ends Sunday with an all-day symposium featuring such luminaries as Martin Yan and Madhur Jaffrey (locations and prices vary; see full schedule and register).
