While Marin is generally known for its high net worth and equally high real estate values, local Novato restaurateur Henry Hautau wants his regulars at the recently revamped Portelli Rossi (formerly the Kitchen at 868 Grant) to know he feels their pain. From now until November 10th, children ages 12 and under accompanied by a paying grown-up can Dorder off the kids’ menu for free with the exception of the steak entree, which costs $2 (the offer includes one free children's meal for each adult meal ordered; 415-892-6100).
