Thomas Keller’s Bouchon in Yountville is exploring France's culinary regions with its new dinner series. For one week every other month, the bistro will feature traditional French specialties on its blackboard menu that can be ordered à la carte or as a customized three-course prix fixe meal. For the series' first menu, available now through January 22nd, Bouchon will showcase Burgundian cuisine with selections such as escargots bourguignonnes, oeuf en meurette (red wine poached egg served over toasted brioche with fresh mushrooms) and quenelles de brochettes aux écrevisses (fresh Pike quenelles with crayfish). In February, the focus moves to Alsace, with dates, menus and prices to be determined ($60 per person; $45 for wine pairings; 707-944-8037).
