Tony Downtown French Masa’s is hoping to loosen recessionistas’ purse strings with a new three-course prix fixe for $55 – optional wine pairings cost an additional $30. Not bad, especially when you consider that the restaurant's lowest point of entry was previously $105 (415-989-7154; reserve online).
