On May 29 and 30, Coi chef-owner Daniel Patterson will be in Copenhagen for a brief guest chef stint, but that doesn't mean his Cal-French will be closing up shop. Indeed, he'll be turning over the keys for the weekend to husband-and-wife team Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski (of the late Rubicon) for a pop-up restaurant of sorts. For two days only they'll be turning out special five-course feasts for $85, with an optional wine tasting available for an additional $65. When Patterson returns, the restaurant will go back to its regular menu for another month before closing up for a kitchen remodel, slated for June 28–July 8, with a reopening planned for July 9 (415-393-9000).
