Wendy Bruckner and Roscoe Skipper’s acclaimed eatery Rivoli, which just celebrated its 15th anniversary, plans to ring in the next 15 with a new look and vibe. The couple expects to close the restaurant from July 13–July 26 and reopen it with a ranch-house feel with Japanese influences. The new look is being designed by Martin/Heid, the design firm behind Range, Serpentine and Adesso. They’ve also secured a full liquor license so guests will now be able to enhance their Cal-Med meal with a classic cocktail or cap it with a shot of grappa (510-526-2542; reserve online).
