Starting tomorrow, Hayes Valley brasserie Absinthe will offer a new weekday three-course lunch, courtesy of executive chef (and former Top Cheftestant) Jamie Lauren. Options change weekly, but the deal always includes soup or salad, a sandwich and a sweet treat from pastry chef Luis Villavelazquez. Meaning, you probably shouldn't expect any scallops (11:30 AM–2 PM; $16 per person; 415-551-1590; reserve online).
